Pramiti leverages its Technology Resources Management System (TRMS) to enable IT assets optimization and enhancing manageability of your IT assets. TRMS is a web-based, easily customizable software package that helps IT organizations optimize costs performance and vendor service contracts.

The software has 3 modules:
1. Assets Control Module - maintains a complete inventory of     the assets, physical location, key utilization data, services     contract data, as well as one-time and recurring costs.
    Once configured, TRMS enables you to monitor monthly
    vendor costs and reconcile actual costs with
    planned/projected costs in the contract
2. Optimization Module - a proprietary analytics and
    optimization tool - Aríete®, where assets and services
    can be optimized based on utilization, consolidation, cost
    and performance parameters
3. Reports Module - generates standard and customizable
    reports based on the assets inventory and
    optimization database

Pramiti leverages TRMS to enable speed and accuracy of IT optimization efforts as well as to deliver value to our customer’s business by:

Example - TRMS applied to enterprise Wide Area Network assets base lining and optimization

TRMS enables easier management of an enterprise Wide Area Network (WAN) and telecom assets, and facilitates efficient interaction with service providers.

Assets Inventory elements:

Business units, addresses, number of people and workstations per location
Data connections within the organization- to ensure that each connection type (Leased line, Frame-relay, MPLS, etc) is clearly identified with end-to-end, last miles, equipments, CIRs, EIRs, nominal bandwidth, technology, IP, DLCI, service providers, contracts and costs
Gateways - to eliminate duplication, over-subscription, and IP/ DLCI repetition
Invoices - to ensure costs incurred and quality of services conform to contractual obligations
Service providers and interactions - to enable standardization and automation of processes such as requesting new services, requesting a change in existing services, requesting maintenance and cancellation of services

Optimum transport structure is identified by:
 
Analyzing all possible topologies/interconnections
Analyzing all possible physical routes for each topology
Analyzing all possible combinations of applications flows for each possible combination of routes
Testing all possible service providers,all possible technologies available for each interconnection and for each possible combination of flows over routes
Calculating access and node costs
Calculating the total cost for the network through the sum of costs between backbone, access and hardware Every combination of possibilities are calculated in until all possible topologies and configurations are considered and thus producing the optimal combination of all three based on the organizations requirements


Reports
TRMS generates both standard and custom reports based on the assets inventory and optimization database. TRMS includes very detailed and granular reports centered around, amongst others, per connection, per business unit and per cost center measurements. TRMS also supports analytic reporting and can be customized to include, amongst others, reports to enable accurate costs, performance verification and forecasts.
